Wasn’t feeling great after dinner last night so I decided to nap it off. Woke up at like 11, haven’t fallen asleep again yet. That was a bad idea. Whatever, used the extra time to get 1000 more songs on my iTunes.
“Two words, Chi town, raised me, crazy
So I live by two words, “Fuck you, pay me”
Screamin’, Jesus save me
You know how the game be
I can’t let ‘em change me
‘Cus on Judgment Day, you gon’ blame me
Look God, it’s the same me”—Kanye West, “Two Words”
This song gets to me every time I listen to it. It’s based off of letters that the lead singer’s grandparents wrote eachother during the Holocaust. I love the way he captures everything that they feel about love in such a hard time, he even includes the sexual parts (who wants to talk about their grandparents having sex?) to paint the entire picture of their love. Good stuff.
"Should they catch us and dispatch us to those separate work camps,
I’ll dream about you. I will not doubt you with the passing of time,
Should they kill me, your love will fill me, as warm as the bullets.”
I don’t like defenders who hold the shirts of other players. The only defender here who doesn’t do that and still gets the ball off my feet easily is Ledley King.
He is the only guy who doesn’t hold players. He will get the ball off you without you even noticing. For me, that is a good defender.
He plays without any contact yet is somehow still strong and gets the ball without doing any fouls.

My favorite player for my favorite team announced his retirement today. Played the last 3 years of his career unable to practice, but still managed to be the most integral part of Tottenham’s defense. To put his amazingness into perspective, he was a center back who had 323 club appearances with only 10 yellow cards and no career red cards for club or country. What a monster.
